Monet spent the last twenty-seven years of his life in Giverny, obsessively painting the Japanese bridge and water lily pond he had built there. The Water Lilies series — eventually over 250 paintings — became his life's work and one of the great extended meditations in Western art. This print captures the bridge and its reflection in the water: impressionistic, enveloping, completely beautiful.
