Each VIS carbon fiber hood is engineered with a two-part construction: a top layer of high-grade carbon fiber bonded with epoxy resin, finished with a UV-protective polyurethane coating (Poly Shield) for a high-gloss, showroom-quality finish. The underside features a one-piece, smooth shell that enhances durability and structural integrity. Hand-smoothened edges ensure a flawless finish.

In 2014, we took our manufacturing to the next level by introducing the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which produces parts that are 10-20% lighter and even more durable. We are transitioning all carbon fiber parts to the VIP process, offering you superior quality without significant cost increases.

Every VIS Carbon Fiber Hood comes with a badge of authenticity, so be sure to check for it when purchasing. For optimal safety, Hood pins are required during installation. Avoid reusing stock hood struts, shocks, or dampers, as they can put stress on the carbon fiber material, leading to potential damage.
