Stunning and elegant we have this OOAK 1940's Art Deco “status bag” with black on black velvet stripes by the one and only Italian designer Roberta DiCamerino!

This vintage purse is accented with a large gold tone intricate deco clasp. The lining is a black leather with the original stamp on the inside. The shoulder chain is a brass Greek style deco. The purse is in great vintage condition. There is slight wear on the corners. Please see all photos.

This is an authentic purse and is a perfect addition to showcase with your other collector bags!

Roberta Di Camerino won the Neiman Marcus Fashion Award (1956) and is hailed historically as Venice’s one and only true fashion designer. She is known for her velvet handbags and is credited for creating the concept of the “status bag ".
