Vintage 1940’s STUNNING 2 tone dress in fuchsia and black rayon crepe. The dress has an exquisite old Hollywood silhouette with deep V plunge to the neckline, shirred detailing to the shoulders, 3/4 length sleeves with pleats, seamwork to the skirt and fastens with a metal side zip. For photographing I pinned the deep v plunge to which the previous owner had a fastening, it could be worn with the deep plunge or a fastening re added to created the higher v neckline shaping. The dress has beautiful studwork detailing to the bodice and upper sleeve which adds a sense of glamour from times gone by. Please see condition report below. 

A fabulous dress to add to add any collection for cocktail evenings, evening gatherings or special occasions. A must have for the 1940’s loving lady.

Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - A few old repairs on some seamwork. A small hole to the bottom of one of the metal studs and near the hem. A couple of small pulls and pilling. Some iron shine to the dress. A seam repair to where there would have been a previous fastening to shape the V. These flaws do not detract from the wearability of the garment, she is still strong and presents beautifully. Please see photographs.
