This charming Omega dress watch in 18k gold with a sector dial is dated right back to the mid-1940s - remarkable then that it still looks so beautiful after all these years. The dial is lovely in design, reminiscent of a pie pan, with an ivory central circle boasting Dauphine hands and the Omega signature and an opulent silver chapter ring boasting applied gold hour markers in a faceted teardrop shape. The dial has lots of depth and the gold case gives it warmth - it wears beautifully on the wrist and will carry the wearer seamlessly from daywear to more formal occasions. We have paired the watch with a beautiful handmade Ostrich strap in tan which really compliments the dial. You simply cannot go wrong with a gold dress watch and Omega are masters at the craft! Running well and keeping good time, this watch would be a beautiful addition to any collection. The case is in fairly good shape, however, it does have a small dint on the caseback - gold is more prone to this than steel, of course, however, it takes little away from the watch but is reflected in the price.
