We chose aluminum oxide abrasive because it works quickly in stripping away paint down to bare metal, plastic or fiberglass, giving automotive paint technicians a clean surface for restoration work. This automotive paint stripping belt works with 3M File Belt Sander and other belt tools. These file belts can quickly remove stock in tight areas while allowing technicians increased control over other methods of structural disassembly. A grinding aid allows for cooler grinding, which reduces heat on the surface of metal substrates to preserve structural integrity.
