About Warring States Beads:

The "Warring States Beads" refer to beads made during China's Warring States period, approximately from the 5th to the 3rd century BCE, before the unification by the Qin Dynasty. The oldest glass in China, dating back to the 11th to 8th century BCE, was found in Luoyang, Henan Province. However, it was during the Warring States period that glass products began to be widely distributed. Early Warring States beads were primarily made of faience, a ceramic material decorated with glass patterns. Later, fully glass beads were also produced.
