Sewing Classes for Girls in South Bend

Give your child the gift of creativity and practical skills with Anagrassia's Sewing Classes for Kids! Designed for girls ages 11-13, this hands-on course introduces students to sewing in a fun and engaging environment.

What Students Will Learn

Students will work with Singer Elite digital sewing machines, Singer Elite sergers, and professional dress forms. Throughout the four-class series, they will learn:

• Hand-sewing techniques
• Basic straight stitching
• How to design and drape on a dress form (sizes 4-16 girls available)
• How to use a serger
• How to make buttonholes on a machine and sew on buttons

All materials and supplies are provided.

Requirements

This class is for students with prior sewing experience or those who have completed a private lesson with Mary Grace at Anagrassia. If your child is new to sewing, please purchase a private lesson [here], where they will learn how to use the machine and gain confidence before joining the group class.

Monday Classes (3:30-5:30 PM)

Students who wish to continue their projects beyond these dates are welcome to attend Sip 'n Sew Classes

The April 10 class may fall during spring break. If so, we may change the final class date to April 17 if students are out of town during break.
