Although I specialize in vintage clothing, there is 1 modern label I appreciate to the level that I will almost always pick up one of their pieces, and that is Max Azria B.C.B.G. I find that, despite fast fashion, this line of clothing is always well-made, and importantly, exceptionally designed! This example is one of the better pieces I've ever come across and I'm not surprised to say: upon research I found that this dress retailed for $300 originally. It is made of the softest, sweetest silk & cotton blend knit, with a super thin and fine gauge. It has wonderful 'piecing' which separates the autumnal like color palettes. Each section is divided by a thick black line, as if drawn by a cartoonist's hand - enchanting- creating a rounded collar, sweetheart bust, and waist line. This line also accentuates the sleeves and fluted style skirt. Unlined, with no pockets, closures or other details to note. Overall condition is excellent, with little to no signs of wear (a few loose 'pulls' in the knit were tidied up). Label reads 'B.C.B.G. Max Azria, 70% silk/30% cotton, size Small, made in China, hand wash cold'.
